Hi! I am Stacey, the owner and artisan behind Colibri Handcrafted. My mom taught me to sew when I was 10. I am thrilled to share her passion for sewing! Over the years I have dabbled in making clothes, household goods, costumes, quilts, and embroidery; but I discovered my true passion is making handbags. I love the challenge! After years of encouragement from family and friends, I started Colibri Sewing Studio, LLC, in November 2020, after our youngest went off to college.

I love collaborating with clients on their custom bags! It is fun to watch someone pick out leather and interior fabric, but the best part is handing them their custom bag and seeing the smile on their face.
